Towards social business intelligence

Lee Bryant recently delivered this presentation at the June 2011 Social Media Influence conference in London. Entitled ‘Moving from Social Media Monitoring to Social Business Intelligence‘ – it tackles several pressing themes for the ongoing march toward social business… the top three for me being:

  1. The importance of behavioural data (e.g. drawing this from Facebook)
  2. The “who owns social” question – which may otherwise be phrased as the “who owns the relationship with our customers / donors / activists” question
  3. The challenge of re-organising to make the entire company, not just the marketing department, more customer-centric
