Defining the social web skillset

It can be difficult defining expertise and making hires in an industry moving as fast as ours. Social media is an interdisciplinary occupation – somewhere between strategy, technology, creativity and sociology – which makes it an exciting place to be, but also leaves it wide open to mockery and criticism from those who like things in tidy, old-school boxes, or who think social media is simply another arrow in the quiver of marketing.
