All Media is Social (via BC/DC Ideas)

I’m loving WordPress reblogging…

a highlight from this short, sweet post is, “being able to translate your online experience into offline action and connections is the true power of social media.”

To throw in my own real-world example… it was wonderful when I was community manager for everywoman, getting to meet hundreds of female entrepreneurs in person at the national conference… (Not to mention that community members treated me as a bit of a celebrity when they met me!).

You just have to invite them in. Social Media doesn’t have to live just online. Typical one-way communication media can be turned into consumer engagement through conversation.
